Every year, more and more people are noticing baby birds on the ground and 'rescuing' them.

This is often an inadvertent form of kidnapping.

This course aims to explain what you should do when you find a baby bird and how you can avoid becoming a 'bird-napper'. Examples and images used in this course are of the more common West Australian baby birds taken into care.

This course was produced in collaboration with several key stakeholders at Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre. Our heartfelt thanks to all involved.
